No heat for more than 24 hours? Here’s Dyson Hot+Cool to the rescue!
This is not a sponsored post, I paid the fan with my own money.
Recently, we were out of heating for more than 24 hours — something broke in the building heating system — and we were totally freezing. I remembered seeing an ad about a Dyson fan that claimed to heat up an entire house. After doing a little research, I found it — the Dyson Hot+Cool fan — and minutes later I was at Canadian Tire buying this lifesaver fan. As we already had a Dyson vacuum, I knew I could trust this brand.
What is Dyson Hot+Cool?
Dyson Hot+Cool is a powerful bladeless fan that uses a special technology developed by the company. It’s pretty unique the first time you see it in action — the fan creates a powerful air flow that can be whether hot or cold. It comes especially handy in our Canadian weather where temperatures can vary from -40ºC in the winter up to 40ºC in the summer.
What I think about the Dyson Hot+Cool?
It’s a really great product that gets the job done but if you have multiple rooms to heat, you’ll probably want one per room or perhaps move it every time you move from room to room. I put it in the home office which is a medium-sized room — where I’m working all day — and it instantly felt hotter.
However, I have to say I found it a tiny bit overpriced (around 550$ CAD) since it’s way over the price of a regular heater. It does the same job as any heater — in a more technological, efficient and energy saving way perhaps.
It comes with a handy remote control that works really well. It allows you to control the temperature, speed, rotation and spectrum of the fan.
