I arrived in Mexico City kind of late the night before and I slowly woke up in my cute Airbnb located in Juarez. I didn’t have any plans besides visiting a pastry shop and to withdraw money from an ATM.
I made my way to Roma Sur. I finally found an ATM located inside a hospital. It was my first contact with the very asepticized world that we now live in. I remember seeing so many hand disinfectant bottles everywhere and they even wrote down your name at the entrance. I didn’t know at the time this would be the new normal.
These racks seems to be everywhere in Mexico City. I’ve never seen so many shoe laces at the same time.
Panadería Rosetta was definitely the highlight of my first morning in the city. The wait is definitely worth the wait. I got quedan roles de guayaba which was basically a guava danish pastry. Such a good puff pastry with scrumptious guava jam in the middle.
