Le Red Tiger: Discover this Vietnamese pub located at the heart of the Gay Village in Montreal
I recently discovered Le Red Tiger, an inviting Vietnamese pub located in the Gay Village, through an ad on Facebook and I immediately added it to my ever-growing Google Maps list of starred places.
One night, I was wandering around the town with friends and we didn’t really know what to eat for dinner so I decided to have a look at my trusty list and figured out we were really close to Le Red Tiger. More over, it was a Monday and most restaurants are closed on this day in Montreal (except these ones from this always up to date list).
What’s the menu like at Le Red Tiger?
The menu consists of several Vietnamese style tapas to share or to eat alone! You can’t go wrong with a green papaya salad and imperial rolls, am I right? What really caught my attention, however, is the following: shrimp fritters on a sugarcane stick, all-dressed fried peanuts and the beef carpaccio.
There’s a really nice drink menu too so if you’re in for something special, I highly recommend Soda Chanh Red Tiger which is made out of fermented lime.
