Renaissance Paris République Hotel by Marriott
During my most recent visit to Paris, I had the opportunity to discover a brand new luxury hotel, the Renaissance Paris République located in the République district of the 10th arrondissement, an area in full bustle, where the concept stores and independent coffee shops are multiplying at an astronomical speed. A perfect place for me!
In addition, they have an excellent French restaurant — Origin Restaurant — that you’ll discover in this article.

This new Marriott Group hotel was quite a huge renovation project — a building from the 1970s that once housed artists from all walks of life has been transformed by designer Didier Gomez. Now, this place has absolutely nothing to do with a squat.
As soon as you enter the establishment, you feel like you’re part of a big family. I felt very welcomed at the front desk and I was very impressed by the decor of the lobby which gave a good idea of what was coming later.
Bobo Room at Renaissance Paris République
When I arrived at my room, I discovered a rather big space (considering the average size of the rooms in Paris), but I also discovered the superb decoration — you could feel that each of the elements had been carefully chosen.

Verdict
This hotel was absolutely fabulous and I plan to return in my next stays in Paris. Each of the Renaissance hotels has a completely different design that integrates with the environment in which it is located, a plus for architecture and design lovers!
How to get to Renaissance Paris République Hotel
Being located near Gare du Nord, it is therefore very easy to get there. Note, each of the Uber drivers had a hard time getting there (and understanding the address) but no regular cab driver had the problem. Probably because the place is very recent.
