Everyone that know me would acknowledge how much I love coffee. That is why I decided to start a brand new series called The Coffee Filter where I will showcase only the coffee shops that I visited and that I liked (and that I have been back to or would go back to). The first post goes to Esquina bar à café which I discovered recently.
Esquina bar à café
I recently discovered this nice coffee shop located on Papineau Avenue, almost right at the corner of Mont-Royal Street. I was on my way to meet a client nearby so I made a quick stop and grabbed a double espresso to go — I like to do that when I visit a coffee shop for the first time. Usually, if the espresso is good and well done, I go back. That was the case at Esquina, I went back as soon as my meeting was done and got a cortado along with an amazing chocolate chip and peanut butter muffin.
They serve Pilot Coffee Roasters beans and they have the cutest cups made by local ceramic artist M-C Girard. They also serve great vegan food. I got the avocado tartine and I would get it again #toogood.
