The newly renovated Restaurant Lloyd is located in the heart of downtown Montreal. It offers a unique dining experience in the area and I predict that it will quickly become the destination for locals and tourists who are going to a nearby show or hockey game. In this article, you will discover what makes this restaurant located in the Marriott Château Champlain hotel so charming.

Gourmet cuisine, delicious cocktails and exquisite desserts await you at Restaurant Lloyd!
In order to provide a dining experience that matches the recent renovations of Restaurant Lloyd, the Marriott Château Champlain team has decided to bring in a solid team at all levels. Executive Chef Kevin Mougin, a native of Brittany, France, has many years of experience, notably in French Polynesia, where some of the dishes on the menu draw their inspiration. As for the desserts, it is the pastry chef Sylvain Vivier who offers us his best sweet creations that will definitely seduce you!
The cocktail selection at Restaurant Lloyd
As cocktail lovers, it was hard to choose from the restaurant’s Signature Cocktails menu. Thanks to a team of mixologists, they’ve developed some excellent cocktails that not only taste good, but are eye-popping. The Classique Fumé is sure to impress you when you arrive in a cage filled with applewood smoke. Personally, in terms of taste, I had a crush on the Donne-moi des ailes.
For wine lovers, you will be happy to know that the wine list was developed by sommelier Claude Laporte
The MTLàTABLE menu of Executive Chef Kevin Mougin and Pastry Chef Sylvain Vivier at Restaurant Lloyd
As part of this event, we had the opportunity to try the MTLàTABLE menu. This annual event, which takes place in November, is the perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover restaurants in the city. For this tenth edition, 114 restaurants are participating and Restaurant Lloyd is one of them. For $75, this 4-course menu concocted by executive chef Kevin Mougin and pastry chef Sylvain Vivier will make your mouth water and will allow you to get an idea of the gastronomic offer of this establishment. For my part, I loved it and would not hesitate to return. The portions were generous and everything was very tasty. A special mention for the smoked beef ribs which could easily serve 2 or 3 people!
Architecture and design at Restaurant Lloyd
